Lovely; the look is unmatched, it feels more like a memory than a real thing. Going to take a few of these to France this summer and let my five year old have at it!
love this post. when I was like 8 years old, I took a fuji quick snap on a cross country road trip. we went from Tucson, Arizona to Washington, DC and in DC, I lost the camera on an elevator and we weren’t able to go back 😭 I think that loss fueled my analog obsession.
Ohhhh my heart breaks for those lost negatives-- and what beautiful perspective you have! Thanks for sharing!! <3 I always love meeting fellow analog-lovers on here
This is so fun! Thank you for sharing your tips. We’re about to move again and I’d love to capture the process this way. Where’s your favorite place to get film developed?
I just discovered your Substack and am inspired to pick up a new hobby! Before purchasing a more advanced film camera I’m going to give it a go with a disposable. Thanks so much for sharing your tips - your art is so beautiful! 🌸
Your photos are lovely! It is such a good idea to give kids the camera. I have used one dispodable camera before, and they're so fun! Unfortunately it is a bit expensive to develop it here in my country :( would love to use it again someday

Like the subject and story. I was never happy with disposable cameras myself, but you do have a knack for getting decent shots out of them. That church interior is by far my favorite!
Stunning!! Where are you getting them developed? I have a stockpile of disposables from the last few years that I haven’t figured out where to develop yet.

The disposable has such a unique look
amen to that! I love it sm
The easiest to throw in the bag and go.
Absolutely!! These cameras are indestructible, i swear
Such wonderful images, so special to capture!
Thank you so much, I appreciate it! Xx
This might be a silly question, but how do you get film photos in a digital form?
Virtually all printing labs can give you digital versions of your photos for a few extra bucks.
You can also scan them with a photo scanner, but that's pretty labor-intensive.
I came here to ask this!

What I like about disposable cameras is that they prove the point that technical image quality isn't paramount to a good photo.
😭😍🤩📸✨
